Tim for Model Number Jes9900BAF I have a bad wpw10185287 infinite switch. It is discontinued and I can't find one. The wpw10185286 switch IS available. It looks exactly the same but is black plastic. The pins look the same. Will the wpw10185286 switch work in place of the wpw10185287 switch? It controls a double ceramic burner.
Answer Tim, The manufacturer does not recommend this for your model. Although the pin out and the amp draw all appear the same the orientation of the cam, shaft & knob are likely the differences.
