Gflat65 for Model Number CCE3401W

I am replacing the double burner element control switch (infinity switch?) on a JennAir CCE3401W range top. I received part number 12002125 as the replacement with two spare wires. The numbering on the replacement switch does not match the numbering on the old switch. The old switch us simply numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and N. The new switch is labeled S1, S2, P1 (P1 has two terminals?), P2, 2, 4, and 4a. Which wires go to which terminals? Where are the two spare wires used?

Answer

Hello gflat65, The wire on 2 will connect to P1 along with one end of the black jumper lead. The other end of the jumper lead will connect to S1. The wire on 3 will connect to 4. The wire on 4 will connect to 4a, the wire on 5 will connect to S2. The wire to L2 will connect to P2.
