Hello Steve, This can be due to a failed infinite switch or a harness issue. You will need to pull the tech sheet and get out your test meter to determine the issue. A failed infinite switch will show continuity when turned off. During testing the switches, be sure to tap on them since it is an intermittent issue. It is not as common but possible to have a shorted limiter in one of the surface element limiters. The part numbers for these issues are determined by which surface element is exhibiting the symptoms.
