Joe/Bill, The infinite switch for your model has been discontinued by the manufacturer and is no longer available. However, we do have a universal switch available, but since this is not specifically recommended for your model, it may or may not work for your application.

Sam, You will want to test the switches from P to chassis ground for continuity. If any of them have continuity then this will be a faulty switch. You will also want to test each element on the small terminals that are both on one side for continuity. If there is continuity on any of them then the element is faulty. If none of the switches or elements are faulty then this will be the control board that is faulty.

Mike, It is recommended to use the OEM part when available. The following is for your model: Infinite Control Switch WP3148952 / WP3148952 for 6" elements (Right Front and Left Rear) which are rated at 5.4 to 7.8 amps and Range Surface Element Switch WP3149400 / WP3149400 for 8" elements (Left Front and Right Rear) which are rated at 8.9 - 11 amps

Robert, The infinite switch uses a bi-metallic strip. As current passes through the bimetal connection, it will heat up and deform, opening the contacts turning the power to the element on and off. This is based on the resistance of the element, therefore the 6-inch will be different from the eight-inch and they are not interchangeable.
