Tony for Model Number MER8700DS For some strange reason all 4 of the surface elements all heat up to high and stay there. I know it is the surface switches ( is this the same thing as the infinite switch? i wasn't sure if they were two different things) I need the parts number to all the burners for the stove so I can order them .. Answer Tony, it would be recommended that the wires going to the surface elements are tested for continuity to ground (after unplugging the range power cord). If there are no grounded wires, then the failure would be in the infinite switches. The left rear WP3149404, right rear WP3149404, left front WPW10434452, and right front WPW10411934 switches would be used with the model provided. The left rear W11171119, right rear W11171119, left front W11517959, and right front WPW10251108 elements are used with this model. Read More...
