Bob for Model Number kccc151eblo The compactor was sticking in the top position, I've taken it all apart including the motor. I can smell an electrical burning smell from the back of the compactor, how can you know which part is not working properly, is it the motor,the directional switch or the motor switch?
Answer Hi Bob. You can remove the chain and see if the motor part # W10439651, will run. If not then you can remove the motor switch cover and see if the contacts or connections are burnt.The motor switch is part # W10439651. The directional switch is part # WP777811.
