Jim for Model Number WFW9150WW00 I am working on a duet front load washer wfw9150ww00. It won't do the final spin, and it gives the F8 E1 code I think by flashing the wash light 8 times the 1. I found this is supposed to mean an issue with the inlet water flow. The water flow is good. I checked the hoses, screens, they're good. Some models have a flow meter to monitor the flow of water. This model doesn't. Could the pressure switch have something to do with this problem?
Answer Jim, Yes the pressure switch can play a factor in the unit not filling and throwing the F8 E1 error code and on the tech sheet there is a test for the pressure switch on page 7. If the pressure switch checks ok then the check the wiring of from the control board to the water valve and make sure that there is no damaged or broken wires. If this is ok then test to see if there is 120 vac getting to the water valve. If there is then the water valve would be the issue and if there is not then the control board would be the issue.
