Luis for Model Number NED7200TW My Amana dryer just gave us a TS service error code. I cleaned the lint trap and everything but it is still giving me the error code. I checked online and it appears that the thermister is bad. I am unable to test to see if it is working or not. Is this the most likely reason for the TS error?
Answer Luis, The "TS" error code does indicate a heating issue as well " tS > Dryer Thermistor Short Sensed > The Thermistor resistance is very low. > Check for: Clogged lint screen. - Restricted vent system. Check Thermistor resistance (10,000 ohms at room temperature). - Check for diagnostic code 1." It's best that you check the thermistor WP35001191 resistance at the control board connection, that way you check the complete circuit, wiring and all at the "white" connector across pin#2(blue) and pin#6(red) If the resistance is in range, then you'll need the control board WP35001153.
