Chris for Model Number 110.73932.102 Dryer runs but won't heat. No igniter, no flames, no gas valve cycling. Checked continuity on most parts and found I had a bad thermistor. Does this sound as though that would cause the symptoms I am having? Thanks, Chris
Answer Hello Chris. Thermistors do not have continuity. They read ohms resistance. You need to check for power to the igniter and if there is power there, you will need to replace the igniter on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
