Roy for Model Number MDE9700AYM I have replaced my high heat thermal fuse. My dryer ran for approx 10 minutes and it stopped producing heat. I checked and the thermal fuse has no ohms value again, meaning its blown. I also checked my transmistor. It to has no ohms value. Do I need to replace both and is it the cause for the thermal fuse to keep blowing?
Answer Roy, You will want to replace both parts but the most likely cause for the unit to not work would be a vent that is clogged up. Check the venting from the blower wheel to the outside of the home. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, January 11, 2016
