Jason for Model Number dv328aew/xaa - Samsung electric My dryer will run and run but will not heat. I have tested continuity on all three thermostats (2 on heat element housing and 1 at the intake elbow at drum) all three tested fine and so did heating element. I tested Ohms on the thermistor (also at the intake elbow at the drum) and at room temperature I get around 10 Ohms. Not sure what else the issue could be? Please help! Thanks!
Answer Hello Jason. Make sure 240 volts is coming to the unit, and the wiring is good. If so, then the control or the motor is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
