Jen Evans for Model Number MTW5740TQ0 Maytag Performa Top Loading The top half of the agitator popped off a couple of loads ago when pulling some heavy wet towels out of the washer. I thought I put it back properly because I could get it to lock back into place but after every load, the top half would pop back off during removal of the load. I think it was coming loose during the washing cycle. The last time, the Thrust Washer was cracked in several places and covered in a black goop which was different than the last couple of loads. I don't know what I should order. Advice is much appreciated!
