Joe for Model Number 110.2881297 The washer is making a grinding noise when in the spin cycle. With the agitator removed, the washer spins normally without any grinding noises. I replaced the agitator figuring since it spun normally without the agitator installed it had to be the agitator that was the cause of the problem. However, with a new agitator installed, I still get the grinding noise.
