Rachel for Model Number MEDC215EW1 My Maytag dryer turned on and ran by itself on 2 occasions. I leave the door open to prevent this. Then when I put a load in the dryer around 4:30 PM and at bedtime I realized that the dryer was still running. Can all of these problems be caused by the timer or is it more involved that that? When it was new, the dryer would not dry a load unless I ran it through two 70 minute cycles. Any suggestions?
