Answer Hello Doug, You should verify the cycling thermostat WP694674 and the wiring between L1 and neutral through the timer motor. The cycling thermostat and wiring harness are the only two things in this circuit besides the timer. As a note, the original part has been discontinued and this adjustable thermostat is listed as a satisfactory substitution.
