Dukenc for Model Number Kenmore model/stock # 96588210 switch # 3398194 Hello my Kenmore electric dryer all of a sudden would stop a couple of times in the mid drying cycle. When I pushed the start button it would work fine and cycle thru. Heat did not seem to be an issue. Today when I went to press the start button the dryer will not start. I tried turning the timmer knob thru a few cycles and it still will not start? Could it be the timmer switch? The pn is 3398914 . Thanks in advance for your help.
Answer Duke, It could be the timer, but you'd actually want to test the door switch and start switch first.
