Mary for Model Number LGR4634EQ3 When I set the timer, it does not move. Is this possibly a bad timer? It will come on and heat up just does not stop drying unless it is on the cool cycle.
Answer Hello Mary. A few parts could cause your issues. The most common is the dryer's cycling thermostat WP3387134. This part can be tested with a multi meter MA-DM1. I will include a link in this email to an article detailing how to test various parts with a meter. If you need more assistance, you may want to contact our repair forum. They may be able to provide more assistance. I hope this info helps! http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
