Ljh Whirlpool top loading washer clothes are wringing wet after final spin cycle. Only does this with heavier loads (small or large) such as 4 pair jeans, throw blankets, etc. One repair guy says its a bad timer. Says spin cycle should last at least 7 minutes, mine is running around 3 or 4 minutes. Another repair guy says it's a bad clutch assembly. Two totally different scenarios. What do you think?
Answer LJH, Without knowing the model number we would not be able to get an exact time that the unit should spin. The issue could be that there is a clogged drain pump that is not allowing the water to spin out all the way. If the timer is advancing too quickly this would cause the unit to not spin long enough. The spin cycle should last around 7 to 9 minutes. If it were the clutch it would not spin at all. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, September 3, 2013
