Richard for Model Number 11029822800 Kenmore washer Machine will not start, fill with water or agitate. The only cycle that will work is the spin cycle. Raising the lid during spin cycle stops the machine as usual. Suspect the timer. Can it be anything else?
Answer Richard, If the unit will not fill with water then it will not agitate. You will want to check to see if there is power getting to the water valve when you turn the unit on. If there is power to the valve and the water supply is turned on then the issue will be a faulty water valve. If there is no power to the valve then the timer would be likely. Read More...
