Barbara for Model Number 11029822801 Re: Kenmore washer. Not sure what part should be replaced. The cycles are mixed up. Turning the dial to wash and the machine spins or the spin cycle will start to fill the machine. The casual cycle is the only one that sometimes works through the whole process but seems like the agitating is very fast. The machine is approx 7 years old. Any ideas?
Answer Barbara, The most likely cause for the unit to spin on wash or fill on spin would be a faulty timer on the unit. You will want to check the knob to make sure that it is in place properly but if this checks ok then the timer would be the issue. Read More...
