Thomas for Model Number LSN1000PQ My whirlpool washer trips the GFI, and sometimes the timer kind of 'hangs' and makes a quiet buzzing sound. I can run the washer by using a non-GFI outlet (not a good idea, I know.) Is the inside of the timer possibly wet or dirty and can it be cleaned? Or just replace timer?
Answer Hello Thomas. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the timer WP8557301 is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. If everytime the GFI Trips, the timer is locked up, replace the timer. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, March 1, 2012
