Cornelio L West Covina , CA April 19, 2014 Appliance: Model WHIRLPOOL Timer control was not working I searched online and found Appliance Parts Pros to have the best price and an instructional video on how to replace this part. I've never done any type of repairs on a washing machine and figured I would give it a try. My washer is approx. nine years old and in good condition, and either I would repair this on my own or buy another. It took me about 30 min. to remove and replace the part, once this was completed I put the washing machine back into operation. Hurray!!!!!! did not have to spend another $500-$600 on a new washer. Vivian K O'fallon , MO September 03, 2016 Appliance: Whirlpool Washer LSQ9010PG2 Washer wouldn't advance to next cycle I ordered the timer from Appliance Parts Pros. The time came within 24 hours of ordering (amazing service) I brought my laptop to the laundry room and following the step by step instructions on the video and replaced the part within 30 minutes. Honestly, it would have been faster except that I had trouble finding the right size nut driver on my husband's messy work bench. The only thing I could recommend is that the video missed one step. After you put the new timer in and install the knob, you have to push the black pin in to engage the knob. Other than that....A+!
