Jg for Model Number Kenmore Washer 400 model #11028432700 We start a cycle, & it stops either at the RINSE CYCLE or before the SPIN CYCLE. Sometimes moving the tub around works, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes unplugging it, turning the dial around several times & starting at on RINSE or SPIN works, sometimes it doesn't. Theres no consistency to it. Either way, it stops and does not move on to the next cycle. Already bypassed the lid switch. Timer issue?
Answer JG, The timer ? not yet. First, allow the washer to fill and wash on a short small cycle, make sure the washer drains and spins, then stops and fill. You may have a faulty water level switch or air tube W10339251 if the tub doesn't drain or the switch doesn't reset to "empty" it won't spin/drain. If the switch doesn't reset to empty, the washer won't fill in the rinse cycle or youmay also have a faulty water fill valve WP8578340 But I wouldn't start at the timer until these components are checked for operation.
