Jg for Model Number Kenmore Washer 400 model #11028432700 how can i test for a faulty water level switch or air tube?
Answer JG, At the water level switch W10339251 , with the air dome hose, and wiring disconnected, there should be a "closed" circuit between the Purple and Pink terminals of the switch, with no water in the tub. When you blow into the attachment port on the switch, you should hear a click, and the circuit should open, and the circuit should "close" between the Purple and Tan terminals of the switch. As for the air dome hose, Check and make sure there are no kinks, twists, pinches in the hose. Diconnect it from the water level switch and blow into the end to clear any debris or build up in the hose or tub connection. You may also want to remove the hose, pinch one end closed and blow in it, to make sure there are no "pin holes" in the tube. Good Luck and Thanks Read More...
