Geoffrey for Model Number Kenmore 11026964502 When running the permanent press cycle, my washer has started humming or popping the circuit. When we run using Normal/Ultra Wash, everything is fine. I'm trying to determine if it's the 60 Hz timer switch that has gone bad. Any thoughts?
Answer Geoffrey, We would have to agree with you, the most likely issue, based on your post information is a faulty timer WP8541110. There is most likely a failed contact or a damaged cam wheel, causing an internal short in the timer, and causing the breaker to trip open. Read More...
