Greg for Model Number medc200xw1 My elect maytag dryer will not start. I have checked parts door switch, thero swithes. How can I test the timer and the motor that is all that is left. I have power from wall and to dryer.
Answer Hello Greg, You may want to check the thermal fuse WP3392519 to make sure that you have continuity. If this thermal fuse blows it will keep the unit from operating. You can test your timer WP8299779 to see if you are getting power from terminal C to ground. With push to start switch pushed in check from C to W. Read More...
