Shaun for Model Number A211 This is continuation of the maytag saga i can't find anything wrong with the motor no arcing no burnt contacts spins freely not noising when spinning it manually but still no agitation timer is fine water level switch is fine same with lid switch. this is driving me nuts. I have ensured that all the wires are on there proper connectors and all are tight.
Answer Shaun, the wiring for the timer and motor would need to be double-checked. From there, the start windings and run windings of the motor 12002351 would need to be tested for 120VAC during operation. If there is 120VAC at the start windings and run windings, the motor would be the cause of failure if it is not humming or trying to operate. Read More...
