Ann for Model Number LAT9704AAE In regards to my previous question, I received the replacement timer and was able to install it without difficulty. However, now it just hums on ALL of the spin cycles without actually spinning the drum, whereas prior to installing the new timer, it only hummed on the delicate cycle spin, but was silent on all of the other spin cycles. Did I miss something in the installation process, or is there another bad part? thank you for your help & here is a link to my initial question prior to ordering the timer on Monday. http://www.appliancepartspros.com/answers-for-whirlpool-timer-22001252-ap4026232-question-112325.html
Answer Hello Ann. Try turning the large pulley by hand and see if you can spin the drum manually. If not, you will need to see what has it locked down. If you can, then it sounds like the motor may have went bad as well. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, October 30, 2013
