Cool It 1022 for Model Number lat8006aae Have a Maytag washer, top load, does half a wash cycle and stops, timer runs down and turns off. will not spin or pump water out, motor or pump runs after half a wash cycle. Any thoughts on what? I'm thinking timer? Thanks
Answer Hello, I would first check the water valve WP22001274 for series 10 or lower, (series number is the first two numbers of the serial number), WP22002360 (for series 20 and above). If the cold water valve is bad, the unit could be filling from the hot valve on the wash and since the cold valve is the only valve energized for the rinse cycle, it could be the issue.
