Robert for Model Number mah4000aww Washer shuts off intermittently during cycles. Pressing it makes the machine run again. This may happen 2 or 3 times during a wash cycle. I have checked the water supply and it appears to be good. Thanks.
Answer Robert, The most common issue with this complaint is a slow filling washer. You may want to remove the fill hoses, and check the screened hose washer and the debris screens in the fill valve, and flush the water faucets. Disconnect the air dome hose from the water level switch in the control panel, and blow into the hose. Another check, while the washer is in a spin cycle and running pull out on the door, and make sure the door is locked, and the door switch stays activated. A motor issue would not be an "intermittent" problem, and should be the last thing to consider. Thanks and Good Luck, Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, November 1, 2011
