J.H. for Model Number MAH4000AWW I have a serial # 1268127WD .....I replaced the timer but the new timer will not advance through the cycle. What else can be wrong?
Answer JH, Power to the timer motor is supplied from conn.7 pin 3 ( blk wire). You'll need to use a multimeter and check for 120 VAC at the control board out, and power in at the timer at blk wire no.15 and wht wire no. 11.The voltage should be intermittent, so you'll need to be patient. Also check conn.7 pin 7 (ylw wire) for constant 120 VAC out to the timer (in the wash cycle)as well. If all's OK you'll need to check the wires and the terminal pins in the connection harness and at the timer. Thanks Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, July 12, 2012
