James Ikerd for Model Number mav7600awq I have an maytag atlantis washer,it works fine other than it will not spin out the loads.I have to turn the knob to spin after the load is finished for it to spin out.Would that be the timer/load control,if i replace would that fix the problem?
Answer James, No the timer/load control is not the issue. The issue is in the drive system, the thrust bearing assembly most likely 12002213 and you may want to consider a new drive belt WP22003483 . You will need to raise the front of the washer or lay it on its back to access the components, and the thrust bearing kit comes with instructions. Thanks and good Luck Read More...
