Doug M. for Model Number SAV2655AWW Once the washer gets filled with water, it won't go into the spin cycle. We then manually change it to a different cycle and it will spin and complete the wash. The problem started with only the delicate cycle for months. Then it happened in the hand wash cycle. Now it is happening with every cycle. Is it the timer? Please let me know! Thanks! Doug
Answer Doug, Based on your post description, You most likely have an issue in the timer WP27001156, a cam or one of the two "spin" contacts inside the timer has failed, When you manually advance the timer, you're forcing the contacts to operate, or you're "forcing" the cam past the bad spot.
