Jenni for Model Number MDG6200AWW My dryer timer does not advance when you have it seton AutoDry settings unless you turn it to the "cool down" or "less dry" positions on the dial. If I set it in time dry it advances normally. The timer ticks in the Time dry cycle and the cool down cycles when the dryer is not running put the timer is not in the off position. I thought it ticked throughout the Autodry cycles but now only does it in the cool down or less dry settings This is the same problem my dryer is having. You had suggested to this person that it was an exhaust problem. We have checked and that is not the problem. Any other suggestions?.
Answer Jenni, This issue would be caused by some type of venting issue in which the dryer vent may be too long, the blower wheel may have heavy lint build up on it or the ducting has heavy lint build up. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, May 29, 2013
