Louis T. for Model Number Kenmore series 80 washer My washing machine will not stop filling once you start the cycle. I can cycle through and get it to empty out the water but it does this in all the different cycles. It seems like it is getting stuck in the fill mode and will not move to next step. I cannot get it into wash mode directly after the fill cycle. Do you think it is timer or is it something else?? Thanks for the help Louis Tingle
Answer Hello Louis T. If you can stop the water from entering the machine by turning off the timer or unplugging the unit, you will need to look for a bad pressure hose or replace the pressure switch. If the only way to shut off the water is at the shut off for the water hoses, you will need to replace the water valve in the unit. Read More...
