Aaron for Model Number Kenmore 110.92596100 I have an old Kenmore washer that my wife and I really like. We inherited it from a family member and it has been running fine for the last two years. Recently though, it has been stopping directly before it drains the washer. Often times we'll come back to find that all of our clothes are suspended in water and the washer has just stopped. From there we can usually play with the knob and eventually get it to drain and once it does it finishes the cycle fine. However, sometimes it takes a couple of tries to get it to get past whatever glitch it seems to be encoutering directly before it drains. Is this a likely problem with the timer? Is there any way to test to see if that is the problem before buying a new one?
Answer Hello Aaron. You have already tested the unit if you can play with the timer and it starts to work. Then the timer is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, November 13, 2013
