Mark for Model Number kenmore 70 series washer Everything works good until the timer reaches the spin cycle. It skips the spin and leaves the clothes soaking wet. I can turn the timer dial all the way around to spin again and turn it on manually and it works just fine. Does this need a new timer?
Answer Hello Mark. If the timer advances the spin cycle and does not power the motor, then yes, you will need to replace the timer WP661636 on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
