Victoria for Model Number 110.22712100 I have a washer that will wash clothes and advance through the cycles properly with the exception of the spin cycle. On some loads it will rinse and spin just fine and on other loads, it will rinse and leave me with a tub full of watery clothes. I can manually spin the knob back to the spin cycle and it will complete the spin and be fine. It sounds like it's a timer issue, but why does it only spin sporadically? It is a load size/water level issue? I'm trying to figure out if there is some setting that I'm using incorrectly, ie: too many clothes with not enough water, or too small a load with too much water. Without replacing the timer, can I use the machine in this manner indefinitely or am I doing some kind of long-term harm by letting it spin certain loads automatically and then manually spinning out others? Is this considered a timer failure and/or will it get to the point where it doesn't spin any loads? Should I wait to replace it? SO MANY QUESTIONS! Thanks.
Answer Hello Victoria, the timer contacts are worn, the timer is part WP661649. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, May 5, 2020
