Rick for Model Number mvwc6esww1 maytag In your response to Tommy's problem regarding the tube which is connected to the sensing or temperature switch (part no. w10248240). You suggested blowing into the tube. I blew into it and this worked once before however this problem has recurred and there appears to be an obstruction when I blow in it. I do not see any kinks. The tube appears to directed to the bottom right side of the washer. How do I get at the other end of the tube to see if the tube has a kink in it. Thanks
Answer Hello Rick, This hose goes to the pressure chamber on the side of the outer tub. You cannot access the inside of the chamber but if you pull the inner tub you can access the opening to the other side of the chamber. To get to the outer part of the outer tub you need to open the control panel and remove the goldtone clips that retain the cabinet to the frame. Un-plug the lid switch and set the cabinet aside. You can then view the pressure switch hose and the pressure chamber. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, February 21, 2014
