Dave Meloh for Model Number MVWC6ESWW1 We recently installed W10243947 for our washer MVWC6ESWW1 but there is a big dial that controls the washer cycles. Originally you can hear the clicks as the dial turns on this part. the gear is stripped or bad inside some how the dial only turns a little and it turns a little better if you squeeze the part you can hear the clicks. Any suggestions??
Answer Dave M, The dial for your machine has been discontinued by the manufacturer, but the clicking sounds are normally from the inside of the timer and if it is stripped the only solutions is to replace it as the internal parts are not available.
