Brian for Model Number MVWC6ESWW When I start wash cycle machine starts to agitate instead of filling w/water checked your sight which said it might be sensor switch. How can I tell if the switch is bad as I am a senior on a limited budget and would like to be sure before I replace this part? My Machine is 2 1/2 yrs old. Tks in advance for your response.
Answer Hello Brian. Based on the information you provided, and the model of the unit, the sensor switch WPW10292584 is the issue. There is a wiring diagram in the control panel you can use to bypass the switch and see that the unit fills with water.
