Al F for Model Number MVWC6ESWW0nm When the washer is turned on, The ajitator starts immediately and after a couple of minutes the inlet water starts. (it used to start the input water first to be followed by the ajitatation. At the end of the spin cycle, incoming water starts for a short time, enough to get the washed cloths soaked wet. I then need to manually turn it back to spin, and then shot it off after the when no water discharge is noticed. My gut tells me that I need a new timer. Please advise
Answer Al, Your "gut" feeling was close, You'll need to check the wiring at the load sensing switch WPW10292584 and the delay timer on the back of the mechanical timer WPW10104800. Both these components control the water fill process, and the timer advancement. If there are no loose connections or damaged wiring, replace the sensor switch. Read More...
