Johnnierocket for Model Number 110.21882001 I just watched your video for replacing a lid switch on a Kenmoore washing machine. This was very informative and I decided to buy the part from AppliancePartsPros.com. The only thing I would like to know is, how do you get the water out of the machine if the lid switch is not working and it stops part of the way through the cycle? I guess it really doesn't matter, since the area that contains the water does not move and can stay there in place. Just thought I would ask though.
Answer You are right Johnny, you won't have to move the tub. Once the new part is installed you should be able to get the water to pump out by setting the timer. Hope this helps! Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, November 6, 2012
