Replacement spacer bushing for gas snowblowers. Installs between moving components to maintain proper alignment. Order a new one if original is worn, cracked, or missing.
A shear pin or shear bolt is specially made to provide auger connection to the shaft. When a foreign object comes in contact with the machine's moving part, the shear pin will break away. By doing so, the snowblower's auger system, as well as the gearbox, is safe from sustaining damage. This unique function of a shear pin means that it will need to be replaced sooner or later. To keep the shear pin in place, a retainer is inserted through. In some cases, when you hit a hard object, the retainer will bend and also need to be replaced. Replacement is easy. First, turn off the snowblower and let its engine cool down. Then, locate the bolts and remove them using a wrench. Insert the replacement. Make sure to align it properly. For replacement shear pins with retainers, you can get this genuine MTC replacement. It is compatible with snowblower models from MTD, Craftsman, Huskee, Yard-Man, Cub Cadet, Yard Machines, and Troy-Bilt snowblowers. These shear pins are original MTD-made products. Four shear pins with four retainers are included.
Replaces broken or sheared auger shear pin on snow throwers. This safety part snaps when auger hits obstacles to protect engine from damage.
Flange bushing for snow throwers and lawn equipment. Replace when worn to maintain smooth operation and prevent part damage. Verify fit with your model.
