Gerhard P Dagsboro , DE November 04, 2019 Appliance: Model BOSCH AXXIS Leaking washing machine replaced rubber door boot.. Fixing was easy and took approximately 1 hour. I have a Bosch Axxis washing machine and all parts came exactly as ordered and within 2 days of order. I had to take off front and top panel and the door switch. The new wire and spring was part of the order and I had to pay for it. The old parts looked fine to me and I could have reused them but since I had the new ones, I replaced them anyhow. Jim D Jacksonville , FL May 13, 2021 Door seal was leaking Replaced the door seal and door holding spring and fastening ring. Both springs were difficult to attach. You almost need three hands. But I would not replace the door seal without replacing both springs. It doesn't make sense to take everything apart and leave two old parts, especially for the cost. The springs are not expensive. I thought it was the drain pump, but found a small crack in the door seal after removing the front panel (that required removing four T20 screws). The seal is easy to remove, but it required two sets of hands to reinstall the spring ring attaching the seal to the drum housing. Read More...
