Stacey E Seattle , WA May 25, 2016 Appliance: Model BOSCH AXXIS Bosch washer was leaking water I have a Bosch washer that I got in the purchase of my house. Last year the drum stopped turning unexpectedly. I called around to repair people and everyone said that they don't service Bosch. Within a week I was going to have family coming for 2 weeks. Out of desperation, I went on online to see if there was anything I could trouble shoot myself. To my surprise and delight, there was an repair person who had video taped troubleshooting and repair videos for my washer. Watching those videos I was able to replace the motor carbon brushes (didn't even know what these things were until watching the video). this year, the washer started leaking water. Again, I went back to those very well done videos and learned how to troubleshoot the issue as well as replace the boot door gasket seal thing. I have to say, those two repairs were some of the proudest moments in my life because I have never repaired anything before and I didn't just scrap my washer for a new one. It is up and running again with no leaks. If anything else were to go wrong, I would be back on YouTube ready to go again. Gerhard P Dagsboro , DE November 04, 2019 Appliance: Model BOSCH AXXIS Leaking washing machine replaced rubber door boot.. Fixing was easy and took approximately 1 hour. I have a Bosch Axxis washing machine and all parts came exactly as ordered and within 2 days of order. I had to take off front and top panel and the door switch. The new wire and spring was part of the order and I had to pay for it. The old parts looked fine to me and I could have reused them but since I had the new ones, I replaced them anyhow. I wish I would have the option to buy the rubber gasket only. Read More... 3 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 1-2 hours Tools: Pliers, Screwdrivers

Jim D Jacksonville , FL May 13, 2021 Door seal was leaking Replaced the door seal and door holding spring and fastening ring. Both springs were difficult to attach. You almost need three hands. But I would not replace the door seal without replacing both springs. It doesn't make sense to take everything apart and leave two old parts, especially for the cost. The springs are not expensive. Excellent You tube video for instructions. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 1-2 hours Tools: Screwdrivers
