Description

The Sealing is an OEM replacement part for Bosch brand dishwashers. Located on the perimeter of the small rinse aid compartment door, this resilient rubber piece forms an essential water-tight seal when the dispenser is closed.   

Symptoms of a potentially problematic rinse aid door sealing include:

• Leakage or spills within the rinse aid reservoir
• Mineral deposits or residue build up inside the compartment  
• Cracks, tears, or deformation of the sealing material

Causes of a faulty rinse aid door sealing can be repetitive opening/closing stress breaking down pliability long-term. Exposure to chemical vapors from the rinse aid may also degrade sealing properties.
