Brute Parts

This replacement part is an engine shroud. This part is a genuine replacement part made by MTD. Engine shrouds allow for more airflow to be filtered through the engine to allow for proper functionality overall. It also works to bring air into the machine like a funnel. A new engine shroud might be needed if the current one is visibly missing or damaged in any way. This can be because of normal wear and tear over time. If debris or other objects get stuck in this part it is common that many choose to replace it over repairing it. Be sure to refer to the proper user manual before attempting to replace this specific engine shroud. This engine shroud is a genuine OEM replacement part.
