This gas valve assembly controls the flow of gas to the burner in a gas dryer. It consists of solenoid-operated valves that open and close to regulate gas supply during the heating cycle. Replace this assembly if the dryer runs but does not heat, heats intermittently, or if you notice the dryer stopping mid-cycle without fully drying clothes.
