This infinite switch controls the heat level of a cooktop's front or rear top burner, restoring variable temperature adjustment for electric ranges. It replaces a worn or failed burner control to help your surface element respond correctly. What it does:

• Regulates burner heat by varying power to the surface element for low-to-high settings
• Commonly used when a burner won't heat, overheats, or only works on one or two settings
• Replaces a faulty control that causes erratic temperature changes or no response to knob adjustments
• Connects to the stove's internal wiring and mounts at the range control panel
